HP 2133 UMPC

without comments

As rumored, HP will announce its new affordable UMPC HP 2133 on April 2nd. $549 for the Linux version of 120Gb HDD 8.9″ LCD mini-notebook sounds really great considering HP’s worldwide distribution network. But it has some cons:

  • 1366 x 766 (WXGA) is just way too high resolution for 8.9″
  • no SDHC slot… at all :(

Lissandre Follet stereocameraphone concept

This is the concept of  stereocameraphone by Lissandre Follet for Motorola. I like its large display and keyboard in a pretty compact body but I hate that stinky cameras. I would buy one if it haven’t camera block.

The same thing with Samsung U-100. Samsung has managed to build a world’s thinnest phone but the camera block ruined all their efforts. Camera makes the U-100 as thick as closest competitors. Stupid practice.
