CPAEmpire Thorough Stats Published

without comments

CPA specialist Copeac.in has published the leaked .xls spreadsheet with a thorough statistics of CPAEmpire affiliate program. The original post is in Russian, so here is the direct download link.

As you can see, people want to have sex (dating) and be better than others (ringtones, education). And the last but not least, they want it free.

If we will asume that sex is just another way to be better than others (if you have sex, you’re better than your neighbour who haven’t), we will get the ultimate formula of the most profitable CPA offer:

Something free that makes someone to be (or, actually, to consider oneself) better than others.

Sometimes Amazon Affiliates goes wrong:
Minus Amazon
I have click to sales ratio disaster this month. Furthermore, somebody has returned his camcorder back to store and now I owe eight bucks to Amazon, just like in Soviet Russia.

Google experimenting with AdSense design

without comments

Today I’ve noticed a black line above 468*60 AdSense block that was installed on one of my site and had the border color set to #FFFFFF:

I’ve seen it just two times. Both of them while browsing my site with Firefox 3.0b5. I guess the new design should intentionally have two black horizontal lines. Because when I’ve scrolled the page a bit, I’ve got the second line where it shouldn’t be.

The same horizontal lines were spotted in the 200*200 two ads block as well. It seems that Google trying to better distinguish AdSense ads from the website content.

Amazon Context Links Sucks

without comments

Have played with Amazon Context Links Beta widget for a couple of days. Got 500 unique clicks (over 600 total clicks) an no sales at all. Usually I have 30:1 to 40:1 clicks to sales ratio but 500:1 is a waste. And, I afraid, two to ten useless links per page can seriously hurt blog reputation.

ShopZilla rocks!

without comments

Recently launched affiliate program ShopZilla is really cool. First of all it’s a PPC - they are paying for every click made by your visitors. The second - the price of the click - it rocks. I get around $0.68 per click in average with the lowest price of $0.45 and the greatest so far - $0.78. It’s far better than AdSense, Widgetbucks and ShoppingAds. Sign-up here and start making good bucks today.
