Wives come in three sizes... Large, huge... And the one in my kitchen

Yep, they are funny and so anti-vegan. But the “I believe” series is my favorite.

A couple of weeks ago Apple have rolled out new MacBook laptops featuring brand new integrated Nvidia 9400M video chip. It was Intel X3100 graphics on the previous models wich was less than acceptable even for running not so demanding games like World of Warcraft. So this time I was very curious about new integrated graphics performance in World of Warcraft. Now the real life tests available. The first one (all settings at high excepty for the new “buffed” shadows):

New MacBooks with Nvidia 9400M rocks. very good (for integrated graphics) 30-50 FPS in the first case and excellent 50-65 FPS in the second - it’s just the same performance my Windows Vista laptop with dedicated Nvidia 9600GT 256Mb shows.

I mean, how can they tell Sunni women from Shmunni male crossdressers or…

I’m definitely not a sporty person. I have retina problems to advocate my laziness. But this Addiction t-shirt from their Outdoor Performance series is really good. It’s very comfy and really - as intended - helps you sweat less.

It’s absolutely invisible under the sweater or jacket but makes even thin ones much warmer. And another great thing - it costs less than $12 including shipping from the US to the Europe.

Cabela’s is my favorite place to shop clothes now. Some of their offers are really eye catching. Same day as the Addiction shirts I’ve grabbed there nice goose down parka for as low as $60! Well, actually a bit less than $90 including the shipping cost but it’s still a bargain. The same quality things are two to three times more expensive here.

I have installed OpenOffice.Org 3.0 final release onto the home notebook and the office desktop and tried it a bit, just Writer so far. The first impressions are:

• it’s fast. Start time is much shorter than version 2.3
• icons are great. Both the icons of the document files and the toolbar icons are much more vibrant.

The only thing I don’t like in the new OpenOffice is all that “khmm.. I don’t know what to do with that *.odt file you’ve sent me” people. C’mon guys, get your copy (in your language and for your operating system) of OpenOffice here right now.

Within a few miles of Big Bone Lick is Big Beaver Lick. Each is essentially a crossroad with a sign. It’s gorgeous country, by the way.

BTW, there is a town named Big Beaver in Pennsylvania. And several miles further by the road - New Beaver. Logical step, the old one is too big. But the Kentuckey’s Beaverlick is much more gorgeous anyway.

Hemp (pot/weed) helps. Now it’s officially proven. It helps you to grow up brand new brain cells and become smarter. It helps to treat cancer. It helps in cases of anxiety and depression. And it’s totally prohibited! 

Oh, I think I need to smoke a bit before falling into another conspiracy theory.
